In this 1-hour webinar, you will gain a greater understanding of dysrexia, the various causes and clinical impact, as well as the available treatment options for appetite stimulation. You will receive an overview of dysrexia (a distortion of normal appetite or eating patterns) and the specific causes and consequences from a clinical and quality of life perspective. You will learn about the regulation of appetite and the role of ghrelin in appetite stimulation. You will be given a comprehensive review of available therapeutic options, including a clinical overview of the efficacy and safety studies that supported the FDA-approval of capromorelin as an appetite stimulant. The speaker will share a protocol for treating various patients with dysrexia.
