Detect Zika Virus IgG with Minimal Dengue Virus Cross-Reactivity

September 19th, 2017 - 11:00 CST

Currently there is no accurate serological diagnostic test for the zika virus due to cross-reactivity with other flaviviruses. To address this need, scientists at R&D Systems have developed a Zika Virus IgG Test that is highly sensitive to zika and displays minimal cross-reactivity with dengue virus. In-house testing shows that R&D Systems® assay is more specific and sensitive than three other anti-ZIKV IgG ELISA kits currently on market. Please join us for a webinar to discuss the development of this new serological Zika Virus IgG Immunoassay. A panel of scientists from R&D Systems will be on hand to explain why serological diagnosis of the zika virus is complicated, what tests are currently being used, and how R&D Systems® new Zika Virus IgG ELISA performs compared to the other commercially available kits.
