Presentation: A New Reality: The Design Process in the Work from Home Era
Emerging new technologies have fueled the VR/AR revolution, and have fundamentally changed the design process. These tools effectively shortened the feedback loop within the typical design process, therefore allowing for a more iterative approach.
In our international design work, emerging technologies have helped cross language barriers by allowing presentations to take place in a more fluid and direct manner. The strategic use of VR/AR allows clients to grasp the design intent of a project almost immediately.
In a post-COVID reality, we will see the emergence of technologies that will allow for the standardization of remote client presentations, as well as the ability to showcase work in a shared physical setting without physical contact.
