EXPLORING THE RISE OF THE CHIEF DATA OFFICER
OCTOBER 1, 2019 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Created to meet the requirement under the President’s Management Agenda to use data as a strategic asset, The Federal Data Strategy is changing the way government approaches data. In order for data to be more than just 1s and 0s, agencies need analytics to simplify the complex digital transformation that the strategy calls for and give rise to the citizen data scientist. This event will explore the government’s shift toward open data and analyze the increasingly pertinent role of federal Chief Data Officer in the journey toward building a culture of analytics.
