CRISPR Biology & Applications

Originally Aired August 27, 2020

The discovery of the bacterial CRISPR-Cas systems has ushered in a new era of molecular biology, from exploration of basic biology to development of powerful genome engineering technologies. Focus on CRISPR biology has led to a deeper understanding of the arms race between bacteria and phages and the discovery of anti-CRISPR proteins, and the development of CRISPR technology has led to powerful tools with applications in gene editing, biotechnology, human disease, and medicine, to name a few. We hope you join us for this webinar to discuss CRISPR biology and applications with Sidi Chen (Yale University), Britt Adamson (Princeton University), and Karen Maxwell (University of Toronto).
