Overview

As we head towards 2021, key milestones in respect of IBOR transition are rapidly approaching, including the cessation of LIBOR lending and consultation deadlines on EURIBOR fallbacks. There is also an increasing focus on the need for active transition of the legacy book. The export finance market is not a one-size fits all market when it comes to IBOR transition and poses some unique challenges in respect of the transition process.

This webinar, presented by Kam Mahil, Senior Director at the LMA and Ash McDermott, Partner at Mayer Brown provides an update on IBOR transition in the context of the export finance market. In particular, the webinar focuses on:

  • the status of key IBOR transition developments (including the development of term rates and documentation)
  • a general update on transition from the export finance market perspective
  • practical considerations for export finance

Note that this webinar was recorded on 7 December.
