New relinquishment and assignation procedures for secure traditional agricultural tenants will take effect from the end of February: what will this mean for tenants, landlords, prospective new entrants and progressing farmers?

Join Hamish Lean, Head of Rural Property and Business at Shepherd and Wedderburn, and Tom Oates, Director at chartered surveyor and property specialist youngsRPS, for a virtual event addressing the legal and valuation issues of these changes from every perspective.

The event will cover key aspects such as the technical requirements of a relinquishment notice, how landlords should deal with a relinquishment notice, the Tenant Farming Commissioner’s procedure in relation to appointing a valuer, the valuation process itself, and the likely open market value of a secure tenancy.
