The road to digital maturity in healthcare
Tuesday 27 June 2017 – 10.30am-11.15am
The benefits to healthcare organisations becoming digitally mature is frequently emphasised – namely, better care and improved efficiency. But getting there will not happen overnight, and will involve getting basic infrastructure right such that advanced systems can be introduced and fully capitalised on.
This HSJ webinar, run in association with IBM, will bring together a small group of experts to consider the journey of digital maturity in healthcare and the prizes on offer for those organisations which successfully negotiate it.
Specific questions for discussion are likely to include:
- What building blocks will healthcare organisations need to get in place before they are able to capitalise on the latest digital offerings?
- What are the obstacles on the road to digital maturity for individual healthcare organisations? How can these be overcome?
- What is the prize for digitally mature organisations? How can they capitalise on exciting developments like augmented intelligence and cognitive computing?
- How do the global digital exemplars plan to support less digitally mature trusts?
